Just jotting in a quick note that will show up as an announcement across all the boards. Basic ideas: Welcome Area -- That would be a FAQ section Announcements - Self-Explanatory Each of the Different Levels would have their own discussion area The Waymarks can be Subforumed - 1 of reach of the 10 Recommend Voyagers & Guardians get sucked into being moderators Have a few IT savvy Admins Online Prayer Book for written prayers Prayer Request in a We/Asked He Answered format You can create How-To sticky posts at the top of each forum Forums can be locked and unlocked - some can be open, some can be private Need a better, more stringent Rules of Conduct, but just did that off the top of my head. Should include a "what's said here, stays here" clause for privacy on prayer requests Can have Documents that are uploaded. Could, for example, link to the CAH website and put the Handbook on the website (You can do it on a hidden page or just a link, depending on how you've got the site set up.     I am really excited that you all registered! Now, we are all sort of just sitting here, being polite, waiting for someone else to talk first! LOL. I actually don't have this hooked up to my phone, so I didn't know that you were all here! *

    First things first: Who has been on a forum like this before?  Where was that, and what did or didn't you enjoy about the experience?

    I will put a poll for a Zoom up in another post for having a Boardhost forums refresher walk-through. If you are brand new to forums or, like me, "it's been a minute" -- I think being able to watch the screen and figure it out will be helpful. In fact, I'm going to offer several on different days and times so everybody who wants to can participate.

    So reply to my question above here, and then reply to the Poll under the poll posting.

    Then, if YOU want to post something, Great! that's what the "New Topic" button does. Got it?

    *That's an ADHD productivity hack. I will turn on alerts for this one so I know to come in and look at it and reply to questions.
